gould is still the only classical musician worth a damn, as far as playing striaght forward enough to not be a total cheese ass. anyone who disagrees can go eat some cheeze.

Oh, isn't this that guy who claims to hear Bach's voice? He talks and sings as he plays, and has the best interperetation of Bach of all.

Richter's pretty incredible... but in my opinion, Glenn Gould was still a better player of Bach. Richter is a better Romantic player though, for the most part. If you disagree with me, get Richter's live recording of Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition. It's called The Sofia Recital, and it's pretty intense.
