Vomit is caused by acetaldehyde that is formed after the absorbtion of alcohol mostly in the liver. Alcohol is absorbed also by the stomach and liquids are retained just for a short time in it. Women are more exposed to alcohol because they don't have the gastric enzime that in men oxidize about 10% of etilic alcohol.
