Steppenwolf - Monster

Back

This great song from Steppenwolf never gained the popularity it should have - probably because it's so long.
I just had fun playing along with it and decided to make this video. I hope it will reach a few people so they can see what a great message John Kay had back then - and that it's (unfortunately) very - if not more so - relevant today.

Yes, we need to wake up and realize that WE are the change that needs to take place. The True America lives within our hearts and only when we live, and create, from a place of peace will it become the reality we dream about. Make no mistake; what is depicted in this video is being perpetuated in the hearts of ALL who hate, judge and condemn. AND it doesn't matter who or what is the object of this judgment.

Do not hate for peace; do not condemn to experience mercy; The war is NOT out there- it is the effect of our collective unconsciousness; by the time we see it, it has already happened. America (inhabitants of planet Earth), lets get it right this time around. It is the dawn of a new day... Lets start at home by acknowledging the indigenous peoples of this land. Nice SRangelIDE- I've wanted to do something with this song for a long time~ thank you)

The "Monster" is coming NOW! 1/20/09 will be our demise as a Nation. OK, Lefties, crucify me. I'd go again, into hell, for MY country. Freedom and Justice is gone. Our vote has been purchased by George Soros (Schwartz). We're in for an experience that none of us (but the very oldest) have ever had!

I respect the American principle of free speech and support without hesitation your right to comment as you did. The neoconservative ideology has been a very effective tool to ravish the American economy and Americas world prestige precisely because of the mindless, moribund calculus of contemporary American ideological analysis. The collective will of the American electorate to endorse the revision of our aberrant policy generation process is, to my mind, very encouraging.

Where have you been the last eight years?Obama can't take away our freedom and justice; Bush has already done that, after he stole the election from Al Gore.
