when i think about these two before they got married (like maybe when they were teens) i dont think about two kids spending their time hugging and kissing. i imagine these two standing under a tree looking around at those much less fortunate than them n laughing at them. i also imagine them hating everything that crosses their path n that strikes up conversation. lol..thats just what i see in my head cuz they're both total baddies :)

Um, while reading the last few books, I actually got the impression that all was not well in the Malfoy household - that Lucius was abusive to Draco (and probably Narcissa) and that Narcissa was just a stuck-up pure blood who married "a good match"... but wasn't really in love with Lucius (although her love for Draco is without doubt - he's a mummy's boy for sure!). Any thoughts?

LDTiger the reason that Voldemort like all other's hate half bloods is typically because they do not want them marrying and mating with purebloods. The reason for this is the strong genetic variables. Purebloods have a far greater chance of keeping the magic alive, there are few left. Diluting the variable can make it die out. There are actual statatistics thats show how many Squibs born to Mudblood families etc. Degree of magic etc., they fear genetically magic will weaken or become extinct.
