I think Egypt was a lot more advanced; in my opinion. There way of thinking was differnt though.

But I agree without the Greeks the world would be alot differnt.

Both were advanced in technology, but if you care to look at the inventions of the Greeks, some are really amazing: the elevator, first cannon which was used against persians, sewersystem along with aqueduct, concrete, cranes, gears, central heating, the Lighthouse of Alexandria, automatic doors, vending machines and clock towers are one of the few to be named.

The Lighthouse of Alexandria! What about the Libary now that is great.

they should teach philosophy in school instead of religion and let people make up their own minds without force feeding people unproven truths, life would be more peaceful if we could use our open minds with its limitless boundries to delve into the questions of life without blocking ourselves in with blind faith yet without getting rid of faith all together, philosophy is peace, open your mind

Considering currency, possibly, but considering the rewards of general examination of logic, it's worth the poverty socrates lived.
