How about all the blacks who voted blindly for Obama only because of the color of his skin? People keep saying that this is MLK's dream being fulfilled. We don't need the most liberal Senator in the country to be elected president just to prove to ourselves we can have a black president.

I resented the unions' history of racism and segregation. But Richard Trumka's speech caused me to reeiew my attitude. Yes, the CIO and the Wobblies were integrated from the start, and it is thoroughly unfair to exclusively associate the unions with the snotty, racist attitude of the AFL. From now on, whenever the word "union" comes to my mind, so will the name "Richard Trumka". Best of luck, Richard Trumka. This country is far better off having the likes of you than not having them.

no all are humans, calling oneself anything else provokes racism, pride in ones difference provokes racism, focus on what makes us all the same so no one can argue, if you are born in the usa you are an american nothing else, so do not subdivide it or you will provoke racism.
