The Beatles - Please Mr. Postman

Back

The Beatles video for their version of the song Please Mr. Postman.

The Beatles began playing the song in their live shows during 1962. It was recorded in-studio on July 30, 1963.

The song was included as the 7th track on the band's second album, With the Beatles, which was released in November of 1963.

The song was originally written by The Marvelettes, and became a #1 single for the group in late 1961. In addition to The Beatles, the song has also been covered by The Carpenters and Lil' Wayne.

True, but what I am referring to is the changing of band members in 1966. The Band on the Run. From The Beatles to the beatles.

Maybe the world will never fully admit it, but more and more people are everyday

actually they really only used electronics and synthesizers during the sgt. pepper, yellow submarine, and magical mystery tour albums. After that they used little to no electronics and synthesizers in their music

I'm an AC/DC fan but this is the biggest band in the world. I got respect! They didn't have a bad song at all. AC/DC is still the greatest though, just a little louder.

"Pop music now days sucks unrepentantly. It's not even real music, its all synthesized studio sounds and phony voices."

That's an ironic thing to say, considering the amount of lies and phoniness "the" Beatles produced from Sgt Pepper on. A phony imitation voice. So on.

Not to say the music that was made from 67 on wasn't good. It's just not what people think.

Good for you! Most youngsters (especially pre-teens & early teens) have to have "their" thing - something removed from the adults. Nothing new there. It's a good thing to be young but it was a great thing to be young (& alive) while the Beatles were together. I think most realized (even in 1970 with the breakup) that they had witnessed something that would never happen again. And to this day, nothing has ever come close.

Follow your heart.

there will never be another beatles, i can agree with that. but a band as influential and great? we will just have to see. (though i dont think anyone can top their legacy.) but i wish there were bands like that around today. to smack all this pop shit straight in the face!!!!

its like, as long as people consider you sexy, you can become famous singing, cuz they can make it sound like you actually have talent.
