There are African Americans, Mexican Americans, Asian Americans, Arab Americans, etc. And then there are just Americans.

You'd know which hardship if you were black. Looking at it from a distance, maybe it might appear that way. I'll tell you something right off the bat, as soon as you list yourself as "African-American" on a job application, despite your morals or character, people don't want to hire you.
