What's really scary is this is what It would be like to be at NORAD If a Atomic War happened.
You'd only be able to sit and watch as the world was obliterated.

Yeah, what is the initial warning at SAC/NORAD HQ in WarGames?

Something like, "Sir, we are tracking about two hundred incoming Acula and Typhoon class Soviet submarines from both the coast areas."

And then like a minute later its, "We have detected approximately eight thousand inbound Soviet thermonuclear warheads."

Worth buying. It's extremely cheap, you can download it and buy a cd-key, easy and simple plus it's a game that I keep returning to despite how monotonous it might seem.
I don't sit for hours at a time playing it, I just play it from time to time and it's a great game just for that.

wargames was the inspiration for this game i read somewhere, except on defcon the computer doesnt realise that no strategic win can be acomplished when everyone has nukes, very insightfull for a 70's movie i think.

The WarGames inspiration is obvious... And it was an 80's movie...
