I like Malmsteen and I have everything he did solo, with Alcatraz and Steeler. But these guys (I dunno about Paco but Di Meola and McLaughlin for sure) are also far ahead in their skills and technique. Di Meola´s early records were pure shred and that was before Malmsteen even entered the "biz". But soon after that, Di Meola refused to do any shred records although he somehow still shreds lol.

Dimeola used to be one of my favorite guitarists when I was young, now I can't stand him after he began writing songs for that worthless commie pig Che Guevara.

its totally different kind of music, but if u put them next to malmsteen as musicians (not including technique and sklilfull playing) they are miles and miles ahead of him...

am an electric guitar player but i love to watch paco's solos he is a very great guitarest such as thouse 2 other guys they were great ,,, but i think yngiwe malmsteen is number 1 :D that's my opinion
