The original adaptation of Pale Blue Dot:
A Vision of the Human Future in Space,written by Carl Sagan and Ann Druyan and published by Ballantine Books in 1994.
Available on Amazon in both paperback and audio book version.

This video was first uploaded to YouTube on February 2007 as part of the Celebrating Sagan Blogathon and subsequently featured on the front page in June 2007.It was a finalist at the Portobello Film festival in London, and the Concorto Film festival in Italy 2007.

Dr Sagan first presented this perspective to the world in 1991, when he revealed the parting image of Earth taken by Voyager from a distance of 4 billion miles.

has prayer ever regenerated a severed limb? people pray for all sorts of divine medical intervention and make all sort of claims, yet they assume that when bubba gets his arm ripped off by a sawmill that no amount of prayer is ever going to cause the omnipotent deity to grow another. why is that? I think it's becuase, rgardless of faith, at some level adults KNOW that it is nonsensical to ask an invisible being to do magic tricks.

Go do research on miracles, go to Medugorje, they exist, they seriously do exist, also, disprove the power of prayer. Things happen if you pray for them. I have witnessed amazing things from prayer. Also, please do research on BOTH sides don't be biased. I HAVE researched on BOTH sides.

I have researched as well. I have never seen a miracle nor have I heard or read of a reliable witness to a miracle. People say crazy things happen but you can't prove them thus they are supernatural. For instance: I think there is a tea kettle orbiting the earth and I have seen it. Prove me wrong. The onus is not on me to prove miracles wrong, it is on those who say they happen to prove they exist.

Prayer, what a joke. Things don't happen from prayer, things happen in general. What "amazing" things happened from prayer? Most people who have cancer pray. A lot of people who have cancer die. Why are their prayers not answered? The list is endless of reasons why prayer doesn't work. And what "Unexplainable Miracles" are there? Give me one that isn't hearsay, and prove to me why it is true and supernatural. Then I may believe you. Until then, "miricles" are just created from the imagination.
