I don't get the whole hardware vs. software..analogue vs. digital argument. It's so lame. All these tools are useful and fun. I use hardware and software. Everything has its place. It's music. Everyone should be open minded about the tools of the trade.

you blatantly dont know what youre on about. analogue is good, but you end up always low cutting it because of the massive bass muddying up your mix. so if your always doing that, why not just use a digital instgrument that will let you model almost the same sound, stay in tune, have built in effects and whole host of other shit. then just run it through a valve pre-amp. that said, id kill a baby for a tb303 ;)

yeah,you are right about the 303!tb of course.digital stuff sucks because it has an awful high freq.the colour of the sound(besides the bass) usualy suck bad.

bollocks man this was true 5 years ago, nowadays there aint much differance in soft and hardware. as for analogue vs digital, wel analogue are nice but i think an access virus wiould do well against any analogue synth, also a jp-8000 will whoop most analogue synths.
