no you wont loose the info on the umd. it is just a copy of the info.and yes it will work for any cfw.

o yeah and i did this so i could play adoc with my friend on gta vcs or lcs and multiplayer wouldnt start it just went back to the pause menu

hey i was using this and i couldnt start umd dumper from my 4gb and it had alot of space so i started it on my 1gb then took out the memory stick anf put my 4gb in and started dumping now i think its memory change to how much my 1gb has do i just format it to fix
