Oh, MEMORIES! A lesson in putting the needs of others before one's own desires. Although, with all those cookies, and ice cream, and fudge sauce, I kinda DID expect him to give into his sweet cravings and pig out on cookies a la mode. BTW, I always assumed the party that the cookies and sundae fixings was for was at an orphanage or something.

I always loved this segment. I always wanted the train that Cookie Monster was riding in. Just goes to show that Cookie DOES have some willpower and is always up for helping the kids. I still get goosebumps when I listen and watch this video. THANK YOU FOR POSTING IT!!! Too bad Sesame Street doesn't do stuff like this anymore.
