Foldable Displays (tracked with the Wiimote)

Back

Using infrared tracking and projection, we can simulate displays on flexible and foldable surfaces. This allows us to fit a large interactive display into our pockets.

The tracking is accomplished using the Wii Remote and IR LEDs

That's amazing. The A-B-C thing is the best.

But you can't say "This allows us to fit a large interactive display into our pockets.": you need a projector.

But you can say the "large interactive display" fits into our rucksack.

Very very cool ideas. Some interesting thoughts are the fact that a projector might not be portable (until recently - a projector made for ipods that docks). But also that I can't see too much of an application except perhaps a new trend for laptops perhaps. Very interesting.

Put it on your website.

he uses infra red!

amazing once again although practicality is something to be improved. it seems infrared is the way of the future

not really practical if you need a projector pointed at it all the time though. OLED-tech is the real deal, and doesn't need any external devices.
Fun trick though.
