Jihad Junior High - Pakistan
BackNovember 2005
Critics in the West argue that Pakistan's madrassas glorify terrorism and should be shut down. But any proposed reforms are bound to be controversial in Pakistan.
At a madrassa in Pakistan, students are being trained by an army officer. Under banners saluting bin Laden, they pledge solidarity to the Taliban. This video, filmed in October 2001, demonstrates the links between the schools and military. The army uses the idea of Jihad to pursue its objectives in Afghanistan and Kashmir. "Who are we to tell them that they are militants or extremists or terrorists. It's all diabolical nonsense", states General Hameed Gul, former head of Pakistan's intelligence service. After the July bombings, it was revealed that at least one bomber had visited the madrassas. Musharraf announced plans to reform the schools. But these reforms have now been watered down. "We don't want to put 17,000 odd madrassas into jeopardy", explains Religious Affairs Minister Ejas Ul-Hug. Having already survived two assassination attempts by those who believe he is too Western, Musharraf is in a delicate position. He is telling the West what it wants to hear but real reform remains elusive.

The pedophile and his minions are vermin. Annihilation is their salvation.

All I have to say is Ata Turk was right when he decided Islam had no place in the governing of Turkey. Many Islamic societies such as Pakistan are backwards and based on ignorance and violence towards non muslims.

Sitting in Canada & barking like an idiot doesn't hide ur ignorant ancestry of being from India. Ever read Canadian history kid? 'Backwards' & 'based on ignorance'.. haaha! I dont see u campaigning for the rights of First Nations Peoples; for an Indian to be sitting in a foreign country n ranting abt such crass is purely entertaining to say the least.
mystz1 (November 30, 2008 at 2:14 am)
Blah blah blah, more gibberish coming from the ignorant runt who has yet to take Idiots Guide to SouthAsian History class. India invaded Pakistan 'twice' & u talk abt Pakistan getting kicked 'out', WOW; truly thats the type of logic Indian kids grow up believing. Lashkar-e-Toiba & Jaish-e-Mohammad were BANNED & their offices, etc SEALED by Pakistani forces in 2002. Today Pakistan is facing MORE terrorist attacks than India; seriously kiddo, how often do u really read the news?
str8desi (November 30, 2008 at 12:57 pm)
who said anything about being kicked out or taking over. Are u dyslexic?? are u illiterate and cant read. maybe all you can read is the quran as thats all u pakistanis do in your madarassas. a country that was born on islamic law...what a joke. Show me proof that those terror camps are shut down. show me proof that the ISI is not involved in all the misdeeds they are accused of being in.

Haaha! Now the Indian kid starts engaging in projection-accusation, a favorite past-time for frustrated, idle kids with nothing else to do. For ur dyslexic self, I would advise taking up South Asian History 101 at a local university here in the States. Pakistan was NEITHER founded as an Islamic state, NOR does it have Islamic Law [Sharia] as the principal law of the land. Learn some facts & provide evidence for ur empty accusations copied frm Indian media before u can expect evidence from me!
str8desi (November 30, 2008 at 6:50 pm)
haahhaaa!! south asian 101 huh. if i took that id be learning about how pakistan got its ass kicked every time it fought india. you Pakistanis are a burden on this earth. sorry, correction, you muslims are a burden on this earth. pakistan gives birth to radicals and extremists. im almost ashamed to say that 95% of pakistanis are converted hindus. what a waste of life to be muslim...living your life by a book which claims that a pedophile is a prophet.

Haaha! The kid now exposes his racist & fascist ideals. What else can be expected from the disciple of Golwalkar, a self-proclaimed fascist & a hardcore fan of Hitler. Tsk Tsk, must be tough living a double life - pretending to be civilized in the real world but on the other hand, coming on youtube & discharging ur hate-agenda of annihilating a group of ppl based on their beliefs. WOW. Truly 'democratic' these Indian kids. Wonder how long it takes for u kids to realize ur contradictions..
str8desi (November 30, 2008 at 6:55 pm)
One more thing, if pakistan is not an islamic state, then why is it called the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Pakistan has Islam as a state religion. are u fucking kidding me. these are basic facts. Stop fucking kidding yourself. Pakistan is lucky it is Saudi Arabia's little bitch.
mystz1 (November 30, 2008 at 9:35 pm)
It was changed to 'Islamic Republic' in 1956. Pakistan was founded as a 'Muslim-majority' state which is a political qualification. Kiddo, every state has leanings towards one religion or the other. Merely writing the name of a religion in the constitution as 'state religion' doesn't make a state some 'theocracy'. How abt cancelling holidays on Diwali, etc for Hindus in India since that is a religious event & days-off in such cases interfere with the running of the state. Kiddo, grow a brain!
