personally, i wouldnt buy more then 2 monitors, i game, and using 2 monitors, means say you use msn, have msn on the 2nd monitor and play and you can look and see what there saying, but other then that, anything else is a waste really

That depends on the task. For your simple use two is plenty. For serious professionals, more monitors equal more productivity.

Would not 4 pc's networked together, be superior performance aginast the price of all those components in one.

Even the least expensive quad monitor computer that has PCIexpress16 will have much better performance than a networked solution. Networks perform at 100MB/second, when PCIexpress16 bandwidth is 3GB/second per card (6GB/second total for four monitors). The networked solution is good for using old laptops as extra monitors.

so what happends when ur on screen one and u move the mouse up to the top? does it go off the screen as if there is another monitor there or not?
