(No, downloading the games Lumines and/or GTA: Liberty City Stories will NOT suffice.)

3. If you are on an official firmware _above_ 3.50, you must downgrade using the Pandora's Battery method. This requires TWO PSPs, where one is your own one you want to downgrade, and the other one is either a 1.50 PSP or a PSP with any custom firmware installed. Guide:

i have v4.05 do i have custom firmware?
Henkibojj (October 12, 2008 at 8:31 am)
No, unless it says anything else than just "4.05". It should say "4.05 M33" or some other suffix. And by the way, if it is a PSP you've bought in a store, you would definitely know if you have hacked a PSP.

i am going to buy PSP-3000. It probably comes with a firmware 2.70.

What firmware do you recommend to me if i want to have many CSO/ISO games on it (i got 16GB memory stick), XMB, background, Boot sounds. the one with most options and less bug?
Henkibojj (October 9, 2008 at 2:43 pm)
PSP-3000 most definitely won't come with 2.70 but with something far later, such as 4.XX or whatever. Still, I can't really help you since it was a long time ago I was up to date with PSP hacking. The M33 firmwares are great however, see what is possible with PSP-3000 once it is released. Sony probably will have given us a lot of trouble with hacking it, so don't expect it to be hacked very soon. ;)

i talked to my friend within the sony corporation and he says its going to have the same motherboard as the other PSP`s. It can have a custom firmware on it, the question is just which one.
Im gonna put alot of games on it thats for sure ;)

Anyway thanks for answering, and now all i can do is wait :)

Henkibojj (October 20, 2008 at 3:20 pm)
