Only on YouTube will you see people debating and arguing over the silliest things!

Dude, you are missing the point. It is about how the media would cover the D-day landings in the 21st century. Plus, what does the Iraqi insurgency have to do with this. That was just too random.

2000 good American man died on that beach, believe me like we talk today of them as heroes people will talk in 50 years about the once how served in the war vs terror as heroes, History will be the Judge like it allways was before...

This is great! I love the way that they brought a historic event and showed how it would look today in the news... With the ever evolving media channels available in the United States I think that this gives an accurate representation of how the general public would have been made aware of the events as they transpired...

A+ work!

and we'd all be called war criminal interventionist neocons for having taken down hitler and kicking kraut ass on D-day

don't forget that

From the perspective of an old fart who was around during WW II and remembers the news coverage at the time, this video is right on the mark! Then, the nation was united, including the media. Today, it's all about negativity and sensationalism for ratings. If it bleeds, it leads. If it doesn't, spin it. Country be d**ned.

..And can anyone imagine a news blackout today?

One thing's for certain: Ernie Pyle couldn't get a job as a mailroom clerk at any of today's newspapers, and Edward R. Murrow MIGHT find work doing voice-overs for TV commercials...

This is satire at its very best.

The UK saved the world,FACT!!

UK lost 5000 ships in WW2
Royal Ensign flew over 1/2 the worlds entire shipping fleet.not just military, cargo, transport etc.
DDay-despite 300 military ships sunk the RN supplied 2/3 of the fleet.

The fact is this the victory was a combined effort yes,but if those ships had fallen into JAP/GERMAN hands,USA would have been crushed like a fly.

Amazing if you look at these facts USA didn't actively participate in the Battle Of Britain.

Nice work! Glad to see some folks out there are still patriots.
