i just bought it and it came with 3.90 and i didn't want to accidentally brick it cause i just got it, i wanted to make sure i did it right first. plus i heard 4.01 doesn't play ps1 games as well as older cf, and what's the advantage to 4.01 anyway, they didnt update that much

dude i cant seem to use the home button in games
whenever i start a game and press home nothing happens+brighness and mute button dont work as well while i am playing a game

i got a black psp slim with 3.90m-33 custom firmware and an 8GB memory stick on ebay for $200. i have downloaded over 30 games and i can put them on the mem. stick so i never have to switch umd's. freaking awesome
