if I knew some crazy old guy like this, I would probably play along too.
Tell everyone he's for real and pretend to get thrown around :)

..too simple you say? well sorry I couldn't give it some complicated spiritual made up meaning. That's what it is.
Chance does exist and it is VERY predictable. It's called probablity. And WE DO KNOW that it will be heads or tails 50% of the time over all. This concept should be very simple to understand.
You are trying to add some impractical mystical meaning to it that can't be relied upon. There is none, unless you can prove it, of course.

your definition is too simple.
The coin will either land face up or face down, based on how quickly it is rotating and how high it's tossed. Just because we don't know whether it will be heads or tails doesn't mean we don't understand what happens.
Chance doesn't exist

The random flip off a coin coming up heads or tails.

My tone is one of reality and yes you are correct, my knowledge of the Catholic Doctrine is limited to just over 30 years of experience. No much. :) So called "miracles" happen every single day. Yes, Fatima is one place, but it's one place where tens of millions of delusional people go and expect unlikely things to happen. If you think that 2 healings out of millions and millions of people is somehow significant and not just due to chance then i rest my case.

people learn by association. You in your limited knowledge of Catholic Doctrine and Theology have, based on principles that really don't make all that much sense, have created an association with reason and science, and inefficiency and fallacy with Catholicism.
This is not the case. You can't know it because you've never studied it, but after looking at it...God is the only thing that makes sense. And science leads right to Him.

ya know... might be more persuasive in you..."arguments" if you took on a bit of a more pleasant tone.
You've done nothing but insult everything I believe in and you've gotten nowhere with what you're saying. You're just repeating the same thing over and over again.
The Fatima is just one place..and miracles are called miracle for a reason. If they happened all the time they wouldn't be miracles.
And those 2 people are important. Science can't explain their healing. That is significant

Read the Conscious Universe by Dean Radin.
I think you'll find statistical analysis and science prove that 50% isn't what we think it is.
Though something tells me you won't invest the time.
