audib6turbo... thank you for bringing some logic to the comments. One edit is that the r8 starts at around 115k. And I totally agree that "performance" is very relative. I would much rather have a balanced car than a 200k supra that can only go fast in straight lines. Don't get me wrong, I think Supras are cool but don't make them up to be something they're not. And Quattro wins races and that has been proven time and time again.

The Carrera 2S is not the best. The best 911s are the GT3, Turbo and GT2

Firstly, how would you know a 70k R8 or 198k porsche will be ruined by a supra modded of equal value? Where is your information to support this theory? Again i have no problem admitting a modded supra is fast, a friend has a chipped mk2 supra and its plenty fast. Secondly what do you mean by performance? It's a relative term. Do you mean straight line speed? auto-x? reliability? I doubt the supra would out-perform in all categories, especially reliability. Unless you can prove otherwise.

It makes perfect sense and it is a fair comparison because I am discussing dollar for dollar. A 70k Supra will kill a 70k R8. A 198k Supra will kill a 198k 911 Turbo. Not the Supra owners problem that the other person is willing to pay more for the name than performance. Dont get into ride quality and all that crap. Main word PERFORMANCE.


Mod for mod is a different story. But thats not what I am talking about right now.
