The Fia should impose Formula 2 regulations on today's WRC cars. But this time with 4wd and around 400 horspower or so at around 20,000 RPM. This should make for exciting racing. They should still maintain a 2000cc engine displacement as well. That would be cool.

Besides the fact that a 2-liter that revs that high reliably simply does not exist (F1 and motorcycles do not count, they do not see the rough life of rally engines), and if it did exist it would make about 600hp not 400hp, and the gearboxes would be hideously expensive, etc....

If they wanted more power they could just make the restrictors bigger.

if they wanted it to be exciting to watch, they'd eliminate the long travel suspensions and also the front halfshafts.

jesus fucking christ i havent seen any rally car going that fucking fast , not todays wrc cars not group b cars , this is amazing !
