hi, i have been using rogaine drops since 3 days.2day when i shampooed,
1> i found a lot of white spots(like dandruff) on my hair. is this because of the medicine

2> my hair fall doubled. is this normal.

shedding can occur in the first 6 weeks following start of rogaine which signals that the old sleeping hair is falling out for new growing hair (a good sign) but at 3 days, that might be unusual. as far as white spots, etc., you need to consult with your dermatologist to make sure nothing else is going on.

sounds good. usually 6 weeks to several months, you will start seeing the growth soon.

hey thanks so much for the reply!
..the thing is i've had iron deficiency and my once thick curly hair has started falling big time sice the beginning of this year. i've been on iron and multi vitamins ever since. my derm yesterday, recommended that i take this, minoxidil, and she gave me some bath cream also. she told me that my hair will grow back. btw i'am not balding or anything, but ido have lost a lot of hair!!..i'am only 20, i've had thick hair all along so i'am hoping it should growback!

will hair fall out in the initial few weeks of applying this??..isnt that scary!!..is it like 100% sure that my hair will grow back?

only a small percentage MAY fall out temporarily meaning that the hair is cycling faster into a growth phase. it is not a 100% guarantee. it depends on your condition but rogaine is intended to slow down loss, regain some but ultimately you might need a surgical hair transplant for something more noticeable and permanent.
