Man,Its to bad that yu get so angry of a fucking call.All you have to do is HANG UP THE MUTHER fuckin phone,its *that** easy.
For fuck sakes,its a job in the bum fuck shit hole town that I live in,so by encouraging everyone to put sales people on the DNC list,you are hepling to encourage unemployment,because in my shit hole city there is no other fucking places to work...
So you can encourage a frivilous law suit and

hahaha last time they called me, this is the convo with them and my mom :

Telemarketer: Hello, i am calling from ***** Daily paper, would you like a deal for the cheapest in your region, which includes a newspaper with flyers daily!

Mom: No. I cant read.

Telemarketer: (Giggles a little) Oh... thats too bad, do you have anybody in the household who would like to---

Mom: Their all dead.

Telemarketer: Oh- Oh my lord. Sorry for your time.

*BEEP*

Suing them is not as easy as this video makes it out to be sadly. First of all, like someone else said, the caller ID will rarely show an actual number. Second, the moment you start asking these questions for their name, who they work for, whatever, more than likely they will simply hang up on you. Third, if you do manage to sue them, it's not that expensive to file the case (which you can also sue for legal costs) but you have to prove they violated something - notes might not work.

Following that advice, you can record your calls, but they might be able to counter-sue for entrapment unless you tell them at the beginning of the call that you are recording them. 99.9% of the time, they will not consent to a recorded call and will hang up on you. Finally, if you do manage to sue them and win, they can give you the run around for God only knows how long before you get your money. Some people report waiting years and still not getting their judgment. Collecting is a pain. :(

The point being that while you CAN sue them, it's not as easy as the vid makes it sound. Nor is there a guarantee that you'll win.

I find it works best to be polite, and say "Please put me on your do not call list". Most of them do it, and they've stopped calling me.

Although, if you have the time, and the money it costs for proper legal service and filings, good luck to you.
