Exactly, and I thought that was one of the problems with the movie: The villains sucked. If they made Mary the villain and cut out the love story crap it would have been better.
Made no sense for NORMAL guys to go after a superhero.

Well, many crapy movies made the ratings. Most times ratings just reflect audiences expectations, not the results.

I thought the movie was alright, nothing spectacular though. I think they should make a sequel where they discover that there are more superhuman beings left.
