What I find astonishing about this clip is how the mainstream media exegetes Christianity, particularly with regard to Martin Sheen's character. The same errors seem to be perpetuated over and over and over again. It would be lovely if everyone attempting to represent a doctrinally responsible representation of orthodox Christianity would pick up a book on the subject of hermeneutics.

Of course the video dosen't bring up that Jesus did away with the physical traditions of the OT and yet kept the moral ones. Homosexuality is condemned in the NT also.

Yes, this is why Europe no longer follows the Christian religion as avidly. Because it has come to show that religion has caused so many horrors, that it is not something to be taken lightly.
