ok so I can play NEtflix from pc on my ps3 to my big TV ? Now do I have to install new windows on my ps3 or can i just use the basic it comes with?

PS3 is not actually playing the game, the pc is. PS3 is only stealing the video signal and putting it on tv

So he has a long lead he can plug into a PS3, he does not need to move his PC right? Cool! But why not just buy a long enough one to plug into a TV instead? I am sure if you can afford to waste money on a PS3, then chances are you have a VCR, DVD or TV you can plug DVI/VGA/HDMI lead into instead.

That's what I was thinking, would it not be easier to hook the PC up directly to the TV? Seems like just another video to rile up the PS3 fanboys. They keep building up hopes of playing PC Crysis on previous gen hardware.(AKA PS3) I can plug my PC into my old VCR and get the same result of what's shown here. Notice how you have -6 bad comments? That's those PS3 fanboys I mentioned, they did not come here for the truth, they came here to be fed more hype. they love it!

why dont you just connect your pc to your tv.
most high end tv's should have a pc input.

Yes you would, since the PS3 is just relaying a signal from the PC to the TV.

would be cooler if there a way to use your ps3 hardware to run a beast of a pc game, i really havent found the ps3 6 axsis controlors tilt feature useful enough for any game to go through the trouble to set this up, i guess its cool you can play your pc games in surrond sound, kickin back on the couch if you got the set up, but its still way easier to just hook up your pc to the tv than to mess around with all that linux software.
