How to unbrick / downgrade any firmware PSP (pandora)

This is a video on how to unbrick or downgrade your PSP using a Pandora Battery and a Magic Memory Stick and install version 1.50 offical firmware or 3.71 M33 custom firmware.

NOTE: This has not been tested on a Slim PSP but should work - if you are downgrading your fully working PSP, accept the risk that you may brick it (this goes for both Fat and Slim PSPs). I am not liable for your PSP bricking - if you do this right, you can unbrick it =D.

You will need:

- A PSP (to unbrick or downgrade to 1.50 OFW)
- A Working PSP (for reading memory stick, etc.)
- A Memory Stick *PRO* Duo (has to be pro duo, not just duo)
- Mini-USB cable (to connect PSP to PC)
- Pandora Battery (will soon upload a video on how to make one, until then buy one or make one if you know how)
- "4mms.zip" which you can download from the below link...

IF YOU BRICK YOUR WORKING PSP WHEN TRYING TO DOWNGRADE (this obviously doesn't go for people with a bricked PSP) I AM NOT LIABLE! IT IS YOUR OWN DOING AND IF YOU FOLLOW THE VIDEO CORRECTLY YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO UNBRICK IT! =D.

NOTE: I RECOMMEND DISABLING YOUR ANTIVIRUS AND/OR FIREWALL EXTRACTING THE 4mms.zip FILE BECAUSE IT CAN BLOCK THE PROGRAM SO YOU CANNOT CREATE YOUR MAGIC MEMORY STICK. (If you do disable these, make sure your internet is off and when you turn it back on, make sure they are re-enabled)

I don't have a regular battery, I'm just using the AC adapter without a battery in during the process of the MMS and all that. Could that be the problem?

you can download despertar del cementario from dark_alex's website. but you will also need to find an mspformat program

are you using vista? because you have to use xp for it to format correctly

the psp is bricked. run through the unbricking again and see if it works.

i followed the video right to the dot everything seemed to work exactly pandora and everything then when i took out the pandora battery and put in normal battery i turned it on and the screen was on but with nothing on it then the screen shuts off but the green light is still on? Please Help me i am dying here :( thanks
