How to record / capture a video game sytem

BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE, check to see if you have the option of AV to DV out on your camera! dont waste two hours setting it up if you dont even have it. It can also be called other things, like 'Video out' or 'S/AV input'.
The camera seen in the video was a Canon ZR40.
The 'special slot' is called firewire.

I use the same camera, ha, i cant do this way cause i dont got a portable pc, i got a desk top thats in an office. Which sucks. So, i'll just continue with my crap way.

all the red chord does is make it come out both speakers so your camera will make the audio come out of one speaker only it really doesn't effect anything
