This is just Orb, yet another thing iPhones can do that other devices have been able to do for years.

Have you tried music (protected aac files) that you bought from the itunes store? Also this works in 3g and wifi? It renders storage obsolete, but the only problem is battery life.

The ONLY file types that don't work with this are DRM-protected files. I'm playing an mp3 here.

And yep, works with ANY form of Net access: WiFi, 3G, 2.5G, etc.

And exactly: it removes the limitations of the storage-size of the iPhone. ALL your non-DRMed home music is now available anytime, anywhere.

actually, this IS about streaming from the PC *to* the iPhone, not the other way 'round

hmm..I tried it using the First Generation iphone. It recognizes all the songs and stuff.. but when I hit play, it shows a file broken icon... Is your phone iPhone 3G?

Sounds pretty cool. I think I'll probably end up jailbreaking it whenever I get my own iPhone lol. I'm sure there's an easier App out there that can do this...
