PS3's version 2.4 firmware has been acquired by a forum called "MaxConsole". Apparently one of its users has the firmware, and this is a video of it, enjoy.

Wasn't that great of an update anyway it crashed PS3's around the World! Sony blows Shit!
And 2.41 is crap as well it freezes PS3's when there is to many text messages! Shame on you Sony! And Music in your games is not supported only crertain games Blow chunks of $hit Sony!

First off, he didn't use an ISO loader, he had to use an SD loader because a ripped or burned game disc would not play on a PS3 unless you had cloaking software on it. The SD Loader used in this video is not available to the public as of now, but once it is, you'll find it on my website for sure. Please note he's also using a Devkit PS3, which would also mean you'd have to tinker an average PS3 to hell before the SD Loader would load properly - that or Linux.

Its becaaue the 2.4 version has been pulled down by Sony all in the space of 24 or so hours. This was due to catastrophic complaints from people that the update has left them with systems that literally do not work in any way. lol you should be pleased like me that you did'nt get it in time. I feel sorry for all those people though :(

I have firmware 2.40 and it works flawless. The rest of my clan has it as well (we stayed up late Tuesday night to get it) none of us have had any issues yet. Its SO god damn convenient, I love my PS3 so much more now that we finally have a fully accessible XMB.
