Back- fishfishstinks wrote in to ask me with the release of XP SP3... will Microsoft soon stop supporting and updating XP altogether?

XP sp3 is just all the previous updates + other bits, it speeds up your computer (assuming it works) by having one bit of script to fix the bad bits

Now with all the XP SP3 reported nightmares I never want to run updates every again but that is illogical.
Well it is not fair for MS to decide people HAVE to run Vista. I have a new 500GB Sata drive and will look to the latest Linux on that one. I wish I could afford a Mac, but maybe some day :)
No I don't want updates automatically. I as a long time tech, want to control what is updating, when, or choose not to, like the original days of building systems. It is about control and learning!

I installed WINDOWS XP SP3 and it caused my computer to continually reboot!!!
I tried everything ( even safe mode ) but nothing work so i had to format the hard drive.
I lost 159 videos on my hard drive ( 5 Boro Bike Tour, Long Island Harbors Ride, Harlem Valley Rail Ride, NYC Century Bike Tour, Twin Lights Ride, MS Bike Tour, Thunderstorm Warning 1,2,3,4, Severe Thunderstorm Warning 1,2 Atlantic City!!!!
I changed my auto updates to manual.
They can stick WINDOWS XP SP3 up their ass!!!

I've been using Vista with only 1GB for a year, I love it. It's a lot easy to keep things safer, and I haven't had anything happen ^^
Well only one thing, and that's just it shut down on it's own and I'm not quite sure why.
