I totally can relate to your interpretation. In fact, it was the day I became social at my job that I found this video. I've been a social recluse for so long then the other day I woke up and said fuck it. I went to work and looked out instead of in and I stopped feeling like a I was an observer of my life. I let my instincts take over and just paid attention to supporting my co-worker's personalities with my knowledge ad sense of humor, instead of wondering if my personality was attractive.

It's interesting how the video makes the viewer the person most likely to wonder / worry about why this guy is walking through the tunnel, while the drivers either honk at him in frustration, stare at him like he's a curiosity, or treat him like he's not even there. There's those guys that try to help at around 2:14, but they're the exception. In some ways it's like the guy pulled himself out of society and let people ignore him; only at the end when he destroyed that car did he return to it.
